Each set with 2 black basalt intaglio seals attributed to Wedgwood & Bentley.

The basalt intaglios mounted back to back in silver bezels and set in reticulated, cone-shaped mounts.

We've identified 3 of the 4 medallions as representations of King George II of Great Britain and two figures modeled after Tassie: Hope with an Anchor and Minerva with a spear in her hand and leaning left. The fourth we think is possibly a representation of William Shakespeare with a laurel wreath.

The silver apparently unmarked. (The reverse of the seals obscured.)

Overall Condition:
They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.

Condition Details:
The mounts are slightly bent in and the spinners only spin with a little pressure. Otherwise, there is some edge wear, some light indentations to the silver, some light edge wear, some fine and light surface scratches, and other signs of light wear consistent with age.

Marks:
The silver apparently unmarked. (The reverse of the seals obscured.)
