A rare and striking complete "Bridge Set" of four (4) vintage mid-century modern trinket dishes, representing the suits of a standard deck of cards: Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs, and Spades. These glamorous pieces are iconic examples of Hollywood Regency barware and vanity decor, likely produced by a high-end American porcelain decorator such as Stouffer or Pickard circa 1950s–1960s.
Each dish is crafted from fine porcelain and finished in a high-shine, brilliant gold leaf (typically 22K). The defining feature of this set is the sculptural, three-dimensional white porcelain hand with a gold "cuff" that serves as both a decorative accent and a functional handle for each piece. This whimsical, "Surrealist-lite" touch makes them a conversation-starting addition to any home bar, bedside table, or game room.
These items are in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or structural repairs. The porcelain remains crisp and the white hands are pristine. As is common with burnished gold from this era, there is minor, age-appropriate fading to the gold finish in some areas, which does not detract from the set's overall brilliance and vintage charm.
