A pair of Lucite bookends in the form of stylized books, dating from the 1940s or 1950s. Made of clear Lucite with softly rounded edges and incised detailing to suggest pages and spines. The transparent material gives the traditional book form an unexpectedly light and sculptural quality.
Each bookend measures 3.75” long by 2.25” wide by 7” high. They are in excellent vintage condition with almost no wear or scratching.
