This is a pair of Blenko heavy amber glass elephant bookends that date to the mid century era decade 1960s. A great piece of modernism/minimalism created by artist Joel Philip Myers. They are constructed of molded amber art glass in an arched elephant shape. Great retro pieces of collectible glass, these can stand alone as decorative accents. Perfect for collectors of animal-themed items and fans of 1960s design. Each bookend measures 6.5" x 6" x 1.5" Very heavy - 5 lbs each. There is a chip on the edge of one bookend, please see photos.
