A rectangular lucite lidded storage box designed by Alessandro Albrizzi. This long box has a polished black base and thick clear top.
Albrizzi was a Venetian-born designer who famously set up shop in London in the mid-1960s and became a favorite with the Jet Set. His designs tended to combine classic forms with contemporary materials.
This box design dates to the 1970s; this piece was part of a mid-1990s production following Albrizzi's death. It measures 9” long by 4” wide and 2.75” high. It is in very good vintage condition with only the slightest signs of age.
