A Shaker-style oval serving tray, handcrafted in 1997 by Ken Baker using traditional methods associated with early American workshop practice. Executed in solid butternut, the tray features a gently raised rim and a clean, uninterrupted oval form that reflects the restraint of Shaker design.
The butternut shows an expressive, flowing grain with natural tonal variation, bringing warmth and subtle movement to the surface.
