Franz Grosz studied at the Art Students League and the National Academy. He exhibited at the Bodley Gallery in New York City and Galerie Visconti in Paris. His work has been in the Carnegie Institute and he is known for his art glass. He exhibited from 1941-1965 with his oil paintings, and glass murals. This bowl is large and heavy and reminds me of Hawaii. Always a plus. It has some large 3-dimensional flowers heavily etched into the glass. It would look amazing on a kitchen island or table with floating candles for a party. See less
