Dating to the late Victorian or early Edwardian period, these plates feature a striking cobalt blue transferware design of blooming chrysanthemums, a motif heavily influenced by the Aesthetic Movement’s fascination with Japanese botanical art.
Each plate carries the "Mintons England" globe and crown backstamp on the reverse, along with the hand-painted pattern number W 2222.
