The scalloped and dentate … Read more Massive 18" Chinese enamelled porcelain dragon and phoenix charger, a five colour charger, white glazed ground. The scalloped and dentate rim is outlined in blue trim lines, and banded with blue, red and green flowers and leafy vines. The rim design is repeated on the interior with finely detailed burgundy peonies and the magnificent green dragon and phoenix can be seen battling it out in the heavens.
This is a finely painted five clawed imperial dragon and a magnificent phoenix.
The carved, traditional Chinese wood plate stand is included.
Double ring foot rims on underside with light blue double circle mark, and six character reign mark inside, with four long life symbols on the sides.
