Remarkably refined pair of antique French Louis XV style bronze ormolu mounted nightstands attributed to François Linke, representing an outstanding level of craftsmanship, design, and material quality associated with the finest late 19th century Parisian furniture. This is a true companion pair, a traditional and highly desirable configuration in French interiors, where one nightstand was intended for the gentleman’s side of the bed and the other for the lady’s side. Each stand is surmounted by a beautifully figured Brèche d’Alep marble top, rich in color and dramatic veining.
