Beautiful Victorian-era pickle castor by Forbes Silver Co. (Model #259). This set features an ornate, quadruple-plated silver frame with original floral detailing and matching tongs.
- Glass: Original etched glass jar in excellent condition. No cracks, chips, or cloudiness on the base.
- Lid: Includes original lid with a very minor 1/4" pinpoint dent (hardly noticeable, see photos).
- Frame: Sturdy silver-plated frame with minor antique patina. Stamped "Forbes Silver Co. #259" on the base.
- Height: Approx. 9.5 inches.
A fantastic, collector-quality piece with better-than-average glass clarity.
