Vintage Figural Lady Table Lamps – Pair
A striking pair of vintage figural table lamps featuring elegantly modeled female figures surrounded by floral and foliate ornament.
Each lamp is mounted on a substantial stone base and rises to a decorative upper socket with sculptural leaf detailing. The richly textured cast-metal surfaces have a warm aged bronze finish that highlights the intricate details of the figures, clothing and surrounding ornament.
Originally made as decorative candlestick forms and later professionally converted to electricity, these pieces retain the character of their original sculptural design while functioning as table lamps.
Their narrow proportions make them particularly effective on a console, bedside table, cabinet, or pair of matching side tables, and they can also be used as decorative objects within a layered, collected interior.
The upper decorative arms were designed to accommodate optional prisms or hanging crystals, which could be added to create additional sparkle and a more elaborate candelabra-like appearance.
