The solid oak desk is comprised of 2 pieces that can be separated for transport. The top hutch features a lift-up panel concealing hidden cubbies above a drop-down desk top lined with black leather. Multiple cubbies above the desk provide additional storage. The bottom table has a handmade dovetail jointed drawer with original wooden knobs and beautifully turned legs.
The desk is in good antique condition and is ready to use. The desk is sturdy, and all the doors, panels, and drawers work well. Evidence of repairs made on the desk. Some non-structural cracks on the wood, as well as other signs of finish wear, such scratches and scuffs. The leather top looks like it might be a newer replacement, but it is in fair condition, peeling and scuffed. Some of the lock mechanisms are missing or broken, and there is no key available.
