Impressive Chinese 4-panel folding painted screen "Dragon", a symbol representing prosperity, good fortune, imperial power and wisdom in Chinese culture. Unsigned. Very dynamic. Watercolor and ink on paper. Silk border. Lacquered brown wood frame with engraved copper corners showing age patina. Silk over paper on back. Lightweight. Four standard metal hangers are included. China, circa 1970-1980s. Excellent condition - no damage to the painting nor back, minimal age wear overall, some age wear to the frame, strong hinges, clean, sturdy. This screen most likely had one owner.
