This lidded vessel features a classic pedestal base and a sculptural finial, giving it a strong, architectural presence. Originally used as a betel box or small household container, pieces like this were part of daily life in Myanmar, valued for both function and craftsmanship. Beautiful signs of age with areas of rubbing, tonal variation, and subtle cracking that reveal the depth and character of the lacquer layers beneath. Each piece is entirely unique and sold individually. See less
