Sculpted from a single block of hardwood with a beautifully timeworn surface shaped by decades of use and age. The deeply hollowed interior, irregular organic form, and visible adze-carved texture reflect the honest utility and craftsmanship of traditional village life, where vessels such as this were used for grain preparation, food serving, or daily household tasks. Rich layers of patina, cracks, and softened edges give the piece sculptural character and authenticity, while the darkened interior and weathered surface reveal a long history of handling and use.
