Each panel showcases unique Chinese inspired scene in a palette of gold, silver, rose and bold blue and green against a deep black lacquered crackle background, beautifully accented with delicate gilt linework and decorative borders.

The composition flows seamlessly across all six panels, creating a landscape scene filled with movement and detail. The landscape scenery add depth and dimensional contrast to the dark ground. The reverse side is finished in black with poetry in a bold gold Chinese Hanzi, allowing the screen to be displayed beautifully from either side.
