The palette utilizes a traditional underglaze blue paired with iron-red accents, creating a dynamic contrast against the milky-white ground. The lions are rendered with expressive, playful features and scrolling manes, leaping through a field of "cash" motifs and swirling ribbons. A flared rim and tapered neck lead down to a gently swelling body, which rests on a recessed foot. The underside bears a four-character mark in underglaze blue, reading "Qianlong Nian Zhi" (乾隆年製), attributing the style to the Qianlong period.
