This large specimen wood object has great intricate design and was crafted by a talented wood turner. The piece features many different types of wood to make up this large covered chalice or centerpiece. The two balls on the shaft can move freely. The piece probably dates to the early 20th century.

Condition: Some damages, losses and repairs. Finial is repaired or replaced. Some trim loss on the bottom of the lid which doesn’t sit flush due to age shrinkage. Small piece of parquetry missing on the upper portion.
