Elegant antique Italian engraving titled “Saturno” (Saturn), depicting the Roman god of time and harvest seated in a chariot drawn by a winged serpent-like creature, floating among clouds. This dramatic and finely detailed composition is based on a design associated with Raphael of Urbino, reinterpreted by Agostino Tofanelli and expertly engraved by Giuseppe Bertigneni. A matching framed engraving of "Venere" venus is also available in the shop.
Created in the late 18th to early 19th century, the work exemplifies the refined balance and clarity of the Neoclassical period. The oval composition, mythological subject, and delicate engraving technique make it a striking and sophisticated decorative piece, ideal for traditional, European-inspired, or gallery-style interiors.
