The vessel is decorated with a "Three Friends of Winter" motif, specifically highlighting a gnarled prunus (plum blossom) tree rendered in underglaze blue with delicate iron-red accents on the budding flowers. The composition utilizes a painterly style, with the tree emerging from behind stylized rockwork, while a traditional ruyi-head cloud band encircles the shoulder. The foot is anchored by a series of upright lappet panels containing scrolled floral motifs. On the underside, the recessed base reveals a characteristic unglazed foot ring and a central blue underglaze leaf mark, a common apocryphal or shop mark often found on export-style wares.
