19th Century Mahogany French Empire Cabinet Bookcase With Cellarette And Clock
Dimensions : 100" Wide X 90.75" Tall X 19.5" Deep
This bookcase was made in Paris France by ebeniste Louis Bontemps and has incredible bronze mounts and is made in a gorgeous mahogany! The piece has a clock at the top with the label Bontemps Paris and a cellarette that sits on the bottom. This piece is a work of art and top notch quality! The bookcase comes from Woolworth mansion on the upper eastside of Manhattan and just goes to show the true quality of the gilded age!
