Built from quarter sawn oak, the chair showcases the beautiful ray fleck grain that collectors and decorators alike really appreciate, giving the surface a lively texture while maintaining the clean, restrained lines that define Mission furniture.

The form is simple and sturdy, with wide, flat arms, a slatted back, and solid, well-proportioned legs. The construction emphasizes durability and function, while still offering a warm, inviting look that works just as well in a period setting as it does in a more modern interior. The upholstered seat complements the tone of the oak nicely and remains serviceable, though it does show some age, which is to be expected.
