This unique monumental form is highly reminiscent of similar forms from the "French Empire"design aesthetic of the early 1900's. The hand carved wood body is comprised of a large robust Trophy-like Urn shape detailed with vertical & horizontal flutting patterns which is further highlighted by the solid Brass Lions Head hoop hardware on both sides that creates a sophisticated modern sculpture statement. Topped with original Brass finial that supports the contemporary Cream colored Linen-like shade that casts the ideal ambient glow upon its monumental form. Manufactures "Frederick Cooper" label still mostly intact on socket housing (last pic). See less

This rare & unique Frederick Cooper design lamp is in excellent original condition, completely intact and fully functional. The overall original finish has an intentional "Antiqued Patina" adding to its charm and showing no outstanding signs of damage or blemishes to the wood finish with only some mild edge wear to the the bottom-most Charcoal colored finished base pedestal. Original wiring and 3-way bulb socket has been inspected and appears to be clean, safe and fully operational. The contemporary Cream colored Linen shade that is shown is a contemporary replacement to match the original and virtually perfect. DIMENSIONS: This substantial lamps general dimensions are 32" tall with a general width of 10"x 7" depth to the base. The fabric shade shown is 16" wide X 12" high - the actual shade received may differ ever so slightly in fabric and details due to suppliers availability. Standard screw in style bulb is NOT included.
