Staffordshire Dogs are named so for the area in England where they originate, where they have been in production for nearly three centuries to the delight of hearts and homes over many generations. Two seated poodles with painted, expressive eyes and mouths, worn gold collar and lock, and (more unusual) split legs. The ears and upper body exhibit a sandy texture to suggest a "Continental clip" given by a dog groomer where the hind legs are sheared smooth, which in these examples are indicated by the undecorated ceramic. Patina as expected from age and handling. Make sure to view the detailed images to get a closer look at these low-maintenance companions. Sold as a pair. See less
