The bowl of the fixture radiates with leaf-like palmette components which are slightly irregular from one to the other in a way that confirms the handmade nature of the glass as a unique work of art. A frosty "graniglia" texture on the interior of each leaf diffuses the light from five candelabra light bulbs to flatter the rippling, organic qualities of the leaves. Note the glass shaft covering the brass stem is a custom addition to elongate the flush mount into a chandelier for greater versatility across rooms and decorating tastes. The short brass chain descends from a polished brass half-circle canopy.
