The organizer is dark burl wood that may be applied over another wood. The top has a curly metal design attached to it. The tray is done in dark brown and black with a black cetner handle.

The piece measures 11 7/8 inches long by 7.75 inches wide. It is 2.50 inches tall.

The drawer is 9.75 by 7.00 inches and is 1.25 inches tall.

The inkwells are cut crystal. The lids-which are not attached- have a spring in the base and a small hole in the top. Perhaps they pump ink up through the hole? I’m not sure. The caps are not attached and I don’t know if they should be. Neither the inkwell rim or the cap is knurled, so I’m not sure how they are supposed to attach and they may have to be glued.

The inkwells are cut in an arch design on each side. They are clean and undamaged-except for the neck. One or both may have glue residue or some other kind of residue.

The piece is clean with no damage or missing parts. There is a scrape or two in the pen holder part, but it does not detract. There is also a black painted depressed half circle under the handle, but I am not sure what belongs there. The unit sits on four round wooden feet and it has no markings. See less
