A beautiful and vibrant set of antique Chinese export porcelain in the classic Rose Medallion pattern. This set includes three (4) hand-painted footed bowls and two (2) matching porcelain spoons. Each piece is decorated with traditional alternating panels: one featuring courtly figures in a garden setting, and the other showcasing a lush "bird and flower" motif with peonies and auspicious fruits.
The bowls feature a delicate gold-gilt rim and are densely decorated in the traditional Famille Rose palette of copper-red, green, and yellow enamels. These sets were highly prized exports from the Canton (Guangzhou) region and remain a staple of sophisticated Chinoiserie decor.
