This piece is made of solid wood construction, primarily mahogany. It has been ebonized and finished with a lustrous French polish of museum quality. The top features an open brass canopy encircling an original intact Carrara marble top. The four legs add an elegant element to this piece and support a lower shelf. The feet are capped with brass. There is a single dovetailed drawer with a brass pull. This table is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use.
