This is a glamorous vintage Hollywood Regency style gold curio cabinet. The display cabinet is tall and narrow, measuring 23” wide, 10” deep, and 72” tall. The narrow footprint allows it to be placed almost anywhere you want to display your treasures.
The curio cabinet has a lighted glass compartment on top with a mirrored back. The shelves were originally glass but have been replaced with wood shelves painted Venetian yellow to match the yellow velvet lining on the bottom of the glass display area. The shelves are height adjustable. The lower compartment has a paneled door that opens to reveal a hidden storage space. The cabinet is unsigned, but it was likely made in the United States in the 1960s.
The mid-20th century era cabinet is in very good vintage condition. The cabinet is sturdy and well made with minor wear. The original glass shelves were replaced with wood. The interior light works and includes the original light bulb.
The cabinet is one piece and cannot be separated for transport.
