A superb highly decorative desk featuring a finely patinated brown leather writing surface with intricate gilt-tooled detailing, framed by an elegant satinwood border. The desk is raised on a magnificent ormolu-mounted base of exceptional quality, Each drawer is adorned with striking lion’s head pulls, lending a sense of strength and classical grandeur. The apron is exquisitely decorated with winged thirsty swans flanking a central fountain motif,
