A striking trio of Italian porcelain bread plates from the Natura collection by Emilio Bergamin for Taitù, produced in Italy in 1992. Each plate features an enlarged botanical study of chestnut leaves and burr, rendered with painterly shading and naturalistic veining that fills the field like a contemporary herbarium print.
A fine green garland border frames the organic composition, balancing graphic scale with delicate detail. Designed during the early 1990s wave of nature-inspired European tableware, Natura stands apart for its bold, cropped foliage motif and saturated woodland palette. Rare to find as a coordinated group, these plates bring an artful, modern botanical accent to layered table settings or curated wall display.
