Known as America's oldest tennis manufacturer, … Read more Bancroft wooden tennis racquets were primarily manufactured in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, starting in 1882. Known as America's oldest tennis manufacturer, the company operated sawmills in Vermont (Plainfield and Lower Cabot) to supply high-quality white ash and maple wood for its rackets. After the 1970s, their wooden racquets were manufactured in Taiwan.
