They are Academic Revival Chippendale armchairs, characterized by intricate carved serpentine crest rails and scrolled elbow rests. The upholstery fabric is a damask with a traditional floral scroll which is the type of fabric used for high end upholstery during this period. The tone of the fabric is a gorgeous blush pink.
