Offered is a French Majolica trompe l'oeil cabbage-motif large bowl or planter. It's a fresh green pea color with a smooth interior, a scalloped rim, and a textured Savoy Cabbage exterior.
The bowl has numbers and initials on the undersurface, indicative of the artisans who produced in Vallauris studios in the 1960s. While we believe this to be food safe, it's best advised to use it as a planter or decorative bowl, as the older glaze may not take the wear of washing and utensils.
