The surface combines areas of exposed, textured clay with applied glaze decoration. A natural, speckled clay body is left unglazed along the lower portion, contrasted by a reddish-brown band. The upper section is finished in a variegated glaze with organic drip effects in tones of brown, tan, and subtle blue around the rim. The transitions between finishes are intentionally irregular, emphasizing the handmade quality of the piece.
The underside bears a signature and date; the maker's name is present but not clearly legible.Suitable as a decorative object or for use with dried arrangements.
