The vase is finely potted in a tall baluster form, rising from a subtly flared foot to a narrow neck with an everted rim, giving the piece a refined vertical presence. The body is adorned with a continuous arrangement of bogu motifsscholars objects and still-life elements traditionally associated with learning, refinement, and cultured taste. Ritual vessels, scrolls, and symbolic furnishings are rendered with fluid, confident brushwork, their blue tones standing out clearly against the pale greenish glaze beneath. At the shoulder, the vase features applied animal-form handles inspired by foo-dog imagery, modeled in relief and integrated into the overall silhouette. Additional molded relief details appear near the upper register, adding depth and texture without overwhelming the painted decoration. The subtle green cast of the glaze, visible throughout, is characteristic of certain 19th-century kiln effects rather than later white-bodied porcelains. The interior and base are glazed, with expected firing and age-related characteristics visible at the foot. Decorative yet balanced in proportion, this vase is well suited for display on a pedestal, console, or within a curated grouping of Qing-period porcelain, offering both historical presence and visual restraint.
