One … Read more Beautiful and rare pair of mid 19th century carved wood wall plaques with metal backing. Each one is different. One features a mother bird and two babies in a nest with eggs. All placed in a “wicker” basket. The other features traditional French musical instrument and wheat sheafs. The wood has aged to have a slight grey tone. Sourced in France. See less

- These are antique pieces and do show signs of all over wear and use. There are many small pieces of … moreThese are antique pieces and do show signs of all over wear and use. There are many small pieces of wood missing. Cracks in the wood in many places. Old wood worm holes. Very old pencil marks on the front of both. Light all over dirt. I only brushed these clean. I did not use any chemicals or cleaners. There are no hooks on the back for hanging these but they can be easily hung. Each one is delicate but sturdy and stable. less
