Recently powder coated in classic white over cast aluminum. Designed by Hall Bradley for Brown Jordan, 1967. History & details: Calcutta was designed in 1967 by Hall Bradley. Inspired by the design themes of Chippendale furniture, Calcutta features cast bamboo patterns on the seat and back, while tapered legs and a lower X-stretcher continue the exotic bamboo pattern. Appropriate for indoor formal dining as well as outdoor use. An ultra fuse powder coat finish is applied with an electrostatic technique that creates a complete and uniform coating on all areas of the frame, including the bends and corners. The result is an attractive, durable, high-quality finish that will not flake, peel or blister. See less
