This beauty displays the unique grain and tone variations of the hard woods used by a local woodworking artisan, handcrafted in the manner of Don Shoemaker. Exhibiting masterful craftsmanship, the striking and vividly colorful contrasting parquetry geometric chevron pattern is comprised of maple heart wood, walnut wood and purpleheart wood which is sometimes called amaranth and is tremendously popular for furniture and other designs that call for a unique splash of color. The rectangular tray’s frame is solid purpleheart wood, while each side handle was crafted from both maple heart and purpleheart wood, gorgeous, isn’t it? In excellent condition with age-appropriate wear. The artist left this beautiful piece unsigned. It weighs 3 lbs. 14 oz. and measures as follows:

Interior: 17¾” x 10¼” x 1” W/D/H
