Oil painting on okoume board (similar to mahogany) of a landscape scene with mountains in the background and sailboats entering a port in Spain painted in the style of Guillermo Gomez Gill. By Satori Gregorakis. Vintage frame.
Satori Gregorakis (b. Long Island, N.Y., 1943-)
I am dedicated to the pursuit of beauty through the exploration and development of new ideas. My work is deeply influenced by the challenges of painting within the tradition of the old masters, shaped by my experience as an art restorer. At the heart of my process is the careful, deliberate preparation of the painting surface.
Satori’s paintings are widely collected both nationally and internationally.
