18th / 19th century Chinese Hat chair.
Features a high-back armchair, specifically identified as a yoke-back or "official's hat" chair. It features a distinctive crest rail that protrudes on either side, resembling the knobs on hats worn by high-ranking officials in the Ming Dynasty. Constructed of wood and bearing a carved inscription "Good Fortune & Longevity". In excellent condition and bearing the remnants of an export seal on the back. Measuring 24 inches wide by 18 inches deep and 44 inches tall. Excellent condition.
