This piece stands out through its sculptural form and well-balanced proportions. The structure is defined by smoothly curved wooden armrests made of solid beech, combined with distinctive side panels that form an integral part of both the seat and backrest. This construction gives the chair a unique, recognisable silhouette uncommon in typical period seating.

The armchair features a traditional spring system in both the seat and the backrest, ensuring a high level of comfort as well as long-term durability.

The piece has undergone a comprehensive, workshop-level restoration:
• completely rebuilt upholstery
• preserved and reinforced internal spring structure
• new upholstery fabric with a geometric pattern in a deep brown tone, harmonising with the wood
• wooden elements refinished in a high-gloss lacquer

The restoration was carried out with careful attention to the original proportions and character of the piece. See less
