The quartersawn oak surface shimmers with the prized ray-fleck grain pattern throughout, including the beautifully figured top. The had carved door panels featuring deeply relief=carved acanthus leaf and scroll motifs - a hallmark of high quality Victorian cabinetmaking. The diamond shape raised panel surrounds framing each carving, adding geometric elegance. Bail-pull drawer handles with decorative backplates and matching brass ring cabinet pulls all show beautiful patina. The layout is a full width drawer above twin cabinet doors affording versatile storage options. Bun feet and rounded corners on the top are consistent with the finest Victorian case furniture.
