It is a handsome example who's key features include a top that displays a stunning quartersawn oak surface, with the distinctive ray=fleck grain pattern clearly visible. The warm honey-amber patina shows a genuine aged finish. There are four drawers total, two smaller side by side over two full width graduated drawers below. a classic configuration of the period.. The original ornate brass ball pull handles with decorative backplates show lovely age appropriate patina. Each drawer has a keyhole escutcheon. One key is provided. The chest rests on bun feet, a hallmark of Victorian-era case pieces. See less
