Antique English Regency period leather jewelry box, c.1820
In red leather, having a bombé shaped body and stepped lid. Brass escutcheon, side handles and lid decoration. Standing on brass lion paw feet. The interior is divided into sections and there is a pull out drawer to the base. The inner lid has an etching of Cumberland Terrace in Regents Park. This section pulls out to reveal stationary storage. In good antique condition with a great patina to the leather with some age and use wear. Recently waxed and polished.
