The original spring-core cushions are covered in wool. Teak frame. Completely original. Excellent condition.
Ole Wanscher was a Danish furniture designer and architect, known for his elegant, functional, and artfully crafted creations. His work was heavily influenced by 18th-century English and French furniture. This characteristic distinguishes him stylistically from most Danish designers of the mid-20th century.
Ole Wanscher studied under Kaare Klint at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, where he later became a professor. This piece has an attribution mark,
