#1765 – Danish Modern / Mid Century Rosewood Colonial Armchair – Ole Wanscher for Poul Jeppesen – Cognac leather
Wonderful specimen armchair. Designed by Ole Wanscher for Poul Jeppesen – Model PJ-149, know as the “Colonial Chair”. Seen here with a Brazilian rosewood frame with woven cane seat. Freshly upholstered cognac leather seat + back cushions with goose down filling. Seat has original cane, but will be replaced prior to purchase – has some small breaks in the caning, but still usable. Elegant and classic armchair.
