The back appears to be made from reclaimed barnwood, and the sides are boards painted green on the outside and red on the interior, with black paint on the shelf itself. The bookcase is in good vintage condition and is ready for use or display. There are minor scuffs or imperfections to the finish and the possibility of minor nicks in the wood, including the reclaimed barnwood backing.
