This elegant serving piece features a hand-painted floral design in soft pastel tones, accented by a sculptural gilt vine motif forming the lid handle. The tureen rests on a leaf-form underplate with delicately rendered gilt veining.

Where the lid handle rests on the tureen there is a bit of gilt loss that can only be seen when the lid is removed. Minor shelf wear to base of tureen and one small yellow spot (on close inspection) inside of the tureen. The underplate has a fleabite rough spot on the bottom edge of the plate (only seen on close inspection when overturned). Please see last 2 photos showing "zoomed in" details of flaws.
